You can get to know your fellow students at AKT, the study association for Media and Culture. As a MEC student, AKT offers you discounts on textbooks, cinema visits, and theatre performances and, equally important, AKT organizes fun (optional) AKT activities throughout the year, ensuring you won’t get bored and that your student days become the best period of your life. AKT consists of various committees that organize, among other things, trips within the Netherlands and abroad, film screenings, outings to television shows, visits to theatre and dance performances, and of course, spectacular drinks and parties. For a one-time payment of €60, you are a member for your entire study period. In short: plenty of reasons to join!
