Confidential Contact People
To provide students with a safe and secure environment, two confidential contact people have been appointed at AKT. They are available to students who need someone to talk to, whether it is personal problems, stress or other concerns.* The confidential contact person listens without judgement and offers emotional support, with the ability to redirect students to relevant resources if needed. The confidential contact person helps foster student well-being and contributes to a positive study experience, where students are aware that there is always someone they can rely on.
*The confidential contact person is also someone to whom members and non-members of AKT can report various unwanted behaviours related to the association. The confidential contact person then provides the reporter with appropriate help, as found in AKT’s code of conduct.
SAFETY FORM
Dear AKT member, on this page you can find the form where you can share any concerns regarding safety and confidential matters. These could relate to your studies, AKT or to personal issues. You can choose to fill out the form anonymously if you prefer. Responses will go directly to the confidential contact persons, Thom and Kevin, and will not be shared with other AKT members without your permission. Even if you are unsure whether this is the right place for your question or concern, please do not hesitate to share it, Thom and Kevin will try to help you the best they can.
